Moving Stars

I LOVE the fact that Portland has low enough light pollution that you can still see stars. I just got home from grabbing some dinner with a friend and when I got out of my car I stared at the sky, noticing two satellites right next to each other about to cross paths then noticing that one was moving faster than the other; meaning that they were at two different altitudes. I stood that staring at them for a few minutes. I love space so much.

I want to make a night trip to the Oregon Coast, lay on the beach and stare at the night sky, picking out satellites and planets, and capturing them with my camera revealing the Milkyway. :] I shall do that sometimes this summer.
